I carn't stress this enough that when you are doing your transfer for the skin it has to be perfect,even if you have to do it several times.This is what your tattoo is going to be based on and if it's not perfect then you will have alot of trouble doing your outline.Alot of tattooist would say just do the basic outline of the tattoo on the stencil but I've always found if you put the detail into the stencil you can make your life alot easier when you go to do your tattoo,you don't have to concentrate so much on trying to get it to look the way you want.

Always take your time doing this stencil before you start the tattoo as it is a way that you can build yourself up to doing the tattoo and get the picture into your head, and know exactly what you are going to do with it when it comes to outlinning the tattoo.To watch how to draw up a stencil and apply it.And before applying your stencil make sure you shave the area, clean it down and then add the transfer oil onto the skin.
